INTERLET: Housing Students for Over 21 Years

Over the years, Interlet has housed thousands of students in London from Imperial Colleague, UCL, King's College, Queen Mary, Brunel University, LSE, Birkbeck College, Goldsmiths, The University of London and LAMDA. But the problems that all students face seem to be the same! Of course there are exceptions and there are those that don’t have to face these issues for one reason or another but those that do run the risk of falling out with landlords and having a hard time with their tenancy.

Students themselves are a key part of the fabric of society. They are the face of future businesses, corporations and entrepreneurialism and this is something that we at Interlet believe strongly. Having been students once upon a time, we understand that accommodation or housing is one of the main struggles that students have to face. There is a lack of information given prior to living alone, and this leaves students unprepared for how competitive the rental market is, especially in central London.

1 Decide on the type of accommodation you want. Whether it’s a studio flat, a two bedroom apartment or a houseshare, you have a choice.

2 Set a budget on how much you want to spend on your accommodation and where you want to live.

3 Be ready to move quickly. Have your deposit ready usually 4-6 weeks in rent.

4 Be prepared to pay upfront.  At Interlet no references are necessary when students pay upfront for six months but having a guarantor is required if you are unable to pay six months upfront.

5 Choose Interlet, as we make contracts easy. Interlet will guide you through all the contractual issues, so don’t worry.

6 Make sure you read the How to Rent guide .

7 Relax… Interlet will house you.
