Are you an ARLA-qualified professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring industry compliance? We are seeking a responsible, accountable and diligent individual to take on the role of Compliance/ Property Manager, where you will play a crucial part in maintaining the highest standards of regulatory adherence within our business.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage compliance across the business, including continuous monitoring of AML, H&S, GDPR, EICR, PAT, Gas Safety etc.

Coordinate, supervise, and maintain records of regulatory and safety certificates, registrations, and memberships in alignment with industry guidelines and company procedures.

Monitor deposit registrations and facilitate alternative schemes when necessary.

Approve new contractors onto the company's preferred supplier lists and ensure they are compliant and registered with regulatory bodies.

Address queries from the team, focusing on complex, difficult, or legal matters, and escalate to relevant experts as needed.

Provide basic accounting reports for the Head of Lettings and the Director on a monthly basis.

Increase property management portfolio

Exceed both office and individual service and accuracy standards.
The Role - Process & Procedures:

Conduct checks as defined by policies to ensure standards are met.

Prepare periodic compliance reports with findings and recommendations for improvements.

Immediately escalate instances of breached regulation and take corrective action.

Support contractors in providing necessary information and certification.
-
Maintain and utilise office systems effectively.
-
Offer compliance-oriented administration support to other teams within the company.

Comply and assist with lettings administrative procedures, legal requirements, and industry standards.

Deal with deposit registration and deposit disputes.
Team Management:

Train, coach and ensure the teams follow compliance across all key areas.

Focus on delivering an effective and consistent level of service, operating within agreed processes and timescales.

Drive, implement, and continually reinforce processes and systems for efficiency and improvement.

Monitor performance against targets, taking appropriate actions to improve individual and team performance.

Ensure service standards are met and address issues of underperformance.

Provide motivation, focus, and direction to the team.
Person Specification:

Proven estate agency experience either in lettings or property management
-
Strong administrative skills with acute attention to detail.
-
A focused self-starter with a willingness to pick up new tasks.

Organised and diligent, able to take ownership of tasks.

Strong people management and organisational capabilities.
-
Proactive problem solver.
-
Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines.
-
Remains calm and positive under pressure.
-
Excellent communication skills.
Salary - subject to experience £35-40,000 p/a
