INTERLET has housed thousands of students for over 25 years. We have a diverse range of high-quality rental property suitable for students. Whether you need a Victorian house for yourself and 6 of your friends to live in during an academic year, or a quiet studio close to the university to serve as a base during your summer course – INTERLET has you covered.
London is a diverse and exciting city with a wealth of world-class tourist attractions (such as the British Museum and National Gallery), flagship retail (such as Harrods and Fortnum & Mason), unique restaurants (such as Hakkasan and CORE), and beautiful Royal Parks & green spaces. In the words of Samuel Johnson – “when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford."
Decide what you can afford before you start house hunting. Remember you will have to budget for gas, electricity, water, internet and a TV licence, as well as food and general household items. One of the bonuses of being a student is that you don’t have to pay council tax for your house.
When students want to take a property as a group, it is advisable that they appoint a Lead Tenant. This person will serve as a point of contact for the Landlord or Managing Agent. This chosen Lead Tenant may also be responsible for the return of individual deposits to the other tenants when the money is returned by the Landlord or Agent.
1.Budget - Determine how much you are willing to spend.
2.Start Early - Start looking at least 2 months before you want to move, in order to avoid disappointment.
3.Location Location Location - Students have placed a premium on being as close as possible to their university to minimise their commute. However given recent events, and the increasingly online nature of many courses, students may now prefer a flexible approach to choosing where to live.
4.Outside Space - Properties with outside space attract huge interest. INTERLET has a number of properties with good-sized gardens, balconies or courtyard spaces.

"I would highly recommend Interlet to anyone looking to rent a flat in London! From the process of finding and offering on a flat, through to the actual tenancy, Interlet has been amazing and seamless. The property manager Shivan is particularly excellent and is always quick to respond and help with any issues during tenancy, he even put us in contact with great cleaning services around the area! Couldn't recommend more."
